Several small, dark insects, presumably mud dauber wasps, are visible on and around the nest, seemingly active or resting. The orange tarp has a distinct texture, and a dark, possibly weathered surface, is visible at the top of the frame. In the background, faint cries, possibly from a child, can be heard.
