The camera pans around the inside of a glass terrarium containing several small rodents. The terrarium has a layer of bedding material composed of wood shavings and dry grasses on top of a dirt substrate. Four or five of the small rodents are huddled together under a ledge made from a brown rock. Another rodent is lying alone on top of the bedding. A sign attached to the enclosure identifies the species as "Microtus hartingi," and states that the animals are native to southeastern Europe.
