An upward-angled, wide shot captures the ancient rock-cut façade of Al-Khazneh (The Treasury) in Petra, situated in the city of Wadi Musa, Jordan. The structure is carved directly into a towering, red sandstone cliff face, which dominates the upper and side portions of the frame. The sky above is partially visible, showing an overcast, light grey cloud cover.

The elaborate façade of Al-Khazneh features a multi-tiered design with Greco-Roman architectural elements. The lower level consists of six prominent Corinthian columns supporting a large pediment, with a dark, rectangular entrance visible between the central columns. Bas-relief sculptures, including figures on horseback, adorn the walls flanking these central columns. The upper level is set back and features a central tholos (circular temple) crowned by a large urn, flanked by two smaller projecting facades, each with two columns and a pediment, containing niches with carved figures. The sandstone exhibits natural variations in color and texture, with visible erosion patterns.

At the base of the structure, on a reddish stone platform, approximately nine individuals are present. On the left, a group of five individuals, including women in long dresses and head coverings (red, white, and patterned) and individuals in casual attire, stand observing the monument. Towards the center-right, three individuals are seated on the stone steps, two women in light-colored long dresses and head coverings, and one person in blue attire. On the far right, a male in dark clothing stands alone, holding a smartphone, appearing to photograph or video the façade. A dark-colored signpost with white lettering is partially visible on the ground to the right of this individual.
