In Khlong Kiu, Thailand, a close-up, vertical shot captures a single, unripe jackfruit (Artocarpus heterophyllus) in its early growth stage. The fruit, approximately 20 cm in length, is vibrant light green, elongated, and tapers to a pointed end. Its surface is slightly textured with minor indentations. A cluster of small, reddish-brown insect larvae or eggs is present on the upper-right surface of the fruit. The jackfruit is attached to a stout, green stem at its top, which extends upwards and out of frame. The background is out of focus, depicting dark brown and grey organic textures consistent with tree bark and intertwined roots, with minimal glimpses of small green foliage. Another darker, possibly dried, organic structure is partially visible to the immediate right of the primary fruit. No human figures are present.
