A rectangular, weathered stone bas-relief depicting a multi-figure scene is embedded centrally into a uniform reddish-brown textured wall. The relief, approximately 1.5 meters in height and width, features nine human figures positioned around a long, plain table, suggesting a communal meal or gathering. From left to right: Three figures occupy the left side of the table. The leftmost figure's head and upper torso are visible, with indistinct facial features. The second figure, positioned centrally on the left, leans forward with hands clasped near the chest, appearing to be in a state of deep reflection or distress. The third figure from the left, a bearded individual in a hooded garment, looks towards the right. A vertical seam or crack divides the panel just to the right of center. The right half of the relief exhibits more significant erosion and discoloration. Four figures are visible on the right side of the table. Two central-right figures appear to be engaged in conversation or observation. The figure on the far right, characterized by long, flowing hair and a prominent beard, gestures emphatically with both hands towards the left, addressing the group. Architectural elements, including a rectangular opening, are present in the background of the left side of the relief. The lower portion of the panel, beneath the table, features indistinct decorative carvings. The entire relief is framed by a simple, raised stone border. The stone material of both the relief and its frame exhibits significant cracking, chipping, and surface degradation, consistent with prolonged exposure to the elements. White discoloration is prominent on the central-left portion of the relief. A small, reddish drip stain is visible on the bottom-right edge of the frame. This artwork is located on an exterior wall of the Metropolitan Cathedral (Catedral Metropolitana de la Asunción de la Santísima Virgen María a los cielos) in the Historic Center of Mexico City, Mexico.
