The dominant subjects are numerous broad, rounded, palmate leaves, light grayish-green in color with visible venation and slightly crenated or lobed margins, consistent with a Mallow species. Several of these larger leaves exhibit small, irregular perforations, indicative of insect damage. Interspersed beneath and between these prominent leaves are smaller, darker green plants, including some with finely dissected, fern-like foliage and others with more elongated or oval leaf shapes.
