A long, outdoor stairway is pictured, leading upwards from a patterned tiled floor towards a canopy-covered walkway lined with shops. The stairs themselves are constructed with what appear to be stone treads and risers, varying in color from a light tan to a reddish-brown, with dark grey or black edging. Metal handrails, some with a black finish and others of polished silver, run along both sides of the staircase. The walls flanking the lower part of the stairs are made of rough-hewn stone. The canopy overhead is made of corrugated metal panels. On either side of the upper walkway, there are metal railings and bars, possibly part of shop fronts or security features. Sunlight filters through the canopy, creating dappled patterns on the stairs. The tiled floor at the bottom is a mosaic of irregularly shaped pieces of stone in shades of white, grey, and reddish-brown. No people are visible in the frame.
