The image shows a low-angle view of the upper section of the Kremlin walls and a domed tower in Veliky Novgorod, Russia. The sky above is partly cloudy and a light blue. The architecture is predominantly white stone with some metal roofing. On the tower, a golden Orthodox cross is visible at the apex. The tower itself is octagonal with a metallic, segmented dome. Below the dome, the tower has a series of decorative ledges and architectural details. The Kremlin wall is a large, light-colored structure with repeating architectural elements. Along the top of the wall, there are several arched openings, some of which appear to be passageways. Visible within these openings are a few individuals. One person is wearing a pink head covering, and others are standing or looking out. Further down the wall, there are rows of small, recessed square windows and more elaborate, pointed-arch shaped window recesses, some of which are dark and appear to be actual windows. A downspout runs vertically along the left side of the wall. The wall shows some signs of age, with visible brickwork and plaster degradation in a few areas. The overall impression is one of historical grandeur and religious significance.
